ABS-ESD7 (Akrylnitril-Butadien-Styrol - elektrostatisch dissipativ) ist ein thermoplastisches ABS-Material mit statisch leitfähigen Eigenschaften für Anwendungen, in denen statische Aufladungen die Produkte schädigen, ihre Leistungen beeinträchtigen oder Explosionen verursachen können. ABS-ESD7 verhindert die Ansammlung statischer Aufladung und somit verursachte Stromschläge, so wie das Anziehen und Haften von Substanzen, wie Staub oder Partikel.
ABS-ESD7 ist ideal für elektronische Produkte und solche mit Leiterplatten, für die Transportindustrie und Firmen, die sich mit industriellen Ausrüstungen beschäftigen.
Es findet breite Anwendung bei der Herstellung von Montagerahmen für elektronische Komponenten und wird auch für den Bau von funktionierenden Prototypen, für die Lagerung von Kraftstoff und für Speditionsmaterial, wie Gehäuse und Verpackungen verwendet.

Test plaques were 4.0 x 4.0 x 0.1 inches (102 x 102 x 2.5 mm) and were built both in the flat and vertical orientation. The range of values is mostly the result of the difference in properties of test plaques built in the flat vs. vertical orientation.
