Titan Ti64Al4v verfügt über außergewöhnliche mechanische Eigenschaften und eine hervorragende Korrosionsbeständigkeit, verbunden mit niedrigem spezifischem Gewicht und Biokompatibilität.
Der Werkstoff ist ideal für viele Anwendungen des Ingenieurwesens mit hohen Leistungsanforderungen wie im Raumfahrtbereich oder dem Autorennsport; er eignet sich auch perfekt für biomedizinische Anlagen. Die aus Titan Ti64 hergestellten Teile können auf Anfrage bearbeitet, dem Drahterodieren unterworfen, geschweißt, geschliffen und lackiert werden.
